Canada Day has ended and my flight is getting closer. I thought I'd figure out where I wanted to post pictures and updates for people to see. It also allows me to see what I can do with the blog. I also went shopping to pick up some things I wanted including a camera that I'm playing around with.
The last few weeks have been a little stressful: selling my house, dealing with leftovers from my job, and just figuring out what I needed to do to be ready. But it's almost over now. Had a few get togethers with different friends and spent my last weekend camping with a large portion of my extended family. With just a few last minute appointments before I'm ready, I'm calming down a bit.
I'll be spending my last week at Laura and Aaron's in Cambridge to hopefully help my cats adjust to their new living conditions. When I first showed up, they were not to thrilled with everything happening, safely staying under the bed and out of the way.
It didn't take much to coax Calvin out for some attention, including keeping me company as I look into this blog. Hobbes is a little less brave but started coming out to steal his new "friend's" food before running back under the bed. Hopefully I can get him out for some attention later in the night. That will also let me see if I can edit a post once it's published.
